Overview

Challenge

There's no standard way of finding a doctor and more than 60% of patients report they want more information when deciding where to get care.

Solution

Good doctors have always traveled by word of mouth. We just made them findable through DocVine.

Research

We synthesized user research and competitor analysis into How Might We statements in Miro, generated 40+ concepts, and applied 3 prioritization frameworks (effort-vs-impact, desirability/feasibility/viability, MoSCoW) to converge on DocVine.

High-stakes decisions, untrustworthy sources

Patients default to Google, Reddit, and insurance portals—sources that weren't built for this. Reviews are anonymous, years old, and lack context. Some patients don't realize it. The ones who do still don't have a better option.

Design

We created user journey maps, low-fidelity wireframes, and 5+ user flows before arriving at the vibe coded prototype in Lovable.

Results

We vibe coded a functional mobile app prototype in Lovable using Claude and Antigravity for design direction, iterating 3 times across 8+ user tests, implementing changes including keyword search and streamlined onboarding, co-presenting the solution at the live final.
